Hoover, Christian
Christian Hoover, MPH– Christian Hoover is a Co-Investigator at the Harvard Injury Control Research Center and a Teaching Fellow in the School of Public Health. Currently, Christian is also a National Institutes of Health F31 Research Fellow and Doctoral student in the Department of Epidemiology at Brown University. Christian received his Masters degree in Public Health from Harvard, where he was selected as recipient of the 2023 James H. Ware Award for Achievement in the Practice of Public Health for his community work with gun owners. As Co-Investigator, he also holds an appointment at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Prior to his time at the School of Public Health, Mr. Hoover was a project manager at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial VA Hospital and in the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. His work investigates the intersection of environmental exposures, mental health, and violent injury.
