Our initiative is a public health incubator, designed to cultivate novel insights and strategies for prevention. We introduce trainees to a rich array of disciplinary perspectives, methodologies, and theories and provide them with opportunities to join crosscutting collaborative teams.

Rhode Island Bill S2774 was held for further study by the Senate Commerce Committee on April 14, 2026, and no further legislative action was reported during the 2026 session.
New legislation would need to be introduced in 2027 to continue these efforts.

Sponsored by Valverde, Lauria, DiMario, Kallman, and Vargas, Senate Bill S2774 would prohibit the sale of over-the-counter diet pills and muscle-building supplements to minors in Rhode Island and require age verification, restricted access, and civil penalties for violations.
