Legislative Updates
Maryland House Bill 884 sponsored by Maryland Delegate Vogel, was introduced in the 2025 legislative session to protect minors by prohibiting the sale of diet pills to individuals under 18. The bill included important safeguards for both in-store and online sales to prevent youth access. Although the bill did not pass this session, its introduction marked an important step toward stronger protections for young people. We remain committed to advocating for these necessary safeguards in future legislative efforts.
