Bill Information

Introduced by Illinois Representatives Janet Yang Rohr and Theresa Mah in the 2025-2026 legislative session, the Ban on Harmful Supplements for Minors Act (HB3027) seeks to protect youth from underregulated diet pills and muscle-building supplements. This bill would prohibit the sale of these products to individuals under 18 unless prescribed by a healthcare provider.
