Thank you for your continued support of Washington Senate Bill 5622. Following its advancement from the Senate Business, Financial Services & Trade Committee, the bill was referred to the Senate Ways & Means Committee in February 2025 and remains pending as of January 2026.

Over the past few months, we’ve built strong legislative support, with key sponsors Senators John Lovick, Manka Dhingra, and Marko Liias leading the charge. With a public hearing already held and momentum growing, we must keep up the advocacy to ensure this bill moves forward.
