New Jersey: Out of Kids’ Hands
Legislative Update
New Jersey’s legislative session for 2024-2025 has introduced two important bills aimed at protecting minors from harmful over-the-counter diet pills and dietary supplements. These bills prohibit the sale of certain products for weight loss and muscle building to individuals under 18, ensuring that young people are better protected from potentially dangerous substances. We are proud to advocate for the health and safety of New Jersey’s youth through these legislative efforts.
Thank you to the sponsors of these bills, Assemblymember Herbert Conaway, Assemblymember Benjie Wimberly, and Senator Raj Mukherji, for their dedication to improving the well-being of young people in New Jersey.
