Environmental Health Data Science Core

The Environmental Health Data Science Core (EHDSC) provides centralized support and training in data management and large-scale research computing, biostatistics, statistical genetics, bioinformatics, environmental epidemiology, and spatial statistics. Assistance is also available in Geographical Information Systems (GIS). In addition to design and analysis support, EHDSC faculty and staff advise investigators on data management issues, large-scale research computing infrastructure, and provide statistical training for graduate students and fellows working on Center-related projects. Educational activities such as seminars and workshops on new statistical methods are offered throughout the year.

EHDSC funding also provides support to Center investigators to access consults and services from the Harvard Chan Bioinformatics Core and to access to high-performance computing in the Harvard Center for Research Computing at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FASRC).
