Summer Program in Clinical Effectiveness
The PCE is designed for individuals seeking quantitative and analytic skills needed for clinical research and health care administration. A joint program between Mass General Brigham, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health & Harvard Medical School.
Non-Degree Option
Application Deadline: February 15, 2025
After completing the Summer PCE, credits earned are valid for up to five years. These credits may be applied to specific degree programs. For more information contact the Office of Admissions.
Non-Degree Application Instructions
- SOPHAS Express Application, which includes:
- $60 non-refundable application fee
- Statement of purpose and objectives:
- One page document addressing the reasons you wish to attend this program, your professional goals, and why you feel that this program will be beneficial to you.
- Two Letters of reference:
- References detailing your clinical ability and research and/or public health potential.
- One reference should be from your division/department head verifying your affiliation during the summer you plan to attend the PCE.
- Curriculum Vitae
- TOEFL, IELTS Academic, or Duolingo (Required) (please visit this site and scroll down for details)
- You must provide an English proficiency test score with your application if English is not your first language AND you have not received any degrees from a college or university where English is the official language of instruction. Post-graduate medical residency in the U.S. does not waive this testing requirement.
- Transcripts (Optional): If you are submitting your transcripts, scan unofficial transcripts and upload them to the application as one document.
