Tuition and Financial Aid

This site provides details on tuition and fees, applying for financial aid, types of funding, billing policies, and more. Please review all the information carefully and contact the Office of Financial Aid if you have any questions.

Third-Party Contract (TPC)

All students receiving any financial support from an external agency, foundation, organization, employer (hospitals) or government MUST complete the Third-Party Contract Online Form.

The Financial Aid Office is responsible for collecting and tracking funding information for all students. If you are receiving funding from multiple sources, separate forms for each source must be received.

As long as your Third-Party Contract Form is received by the established deadline listed below, students will be granted financial clearance for enrollment equal to the amount of your third-party payer’s contribution.

DEGREETHIRD-PARTY CONTRACT DUE DATE
MPH-EPI Online/On-Campus, MHCM, DrPH, summer only           April 1
All Degree/Non-Degree (Summer)           April 1
All Degree/Non-Degree (Fall/Spring)            May 1
All Degree/Non-Degree (Spring)       October 1

* This deadline concerns financial clearance for enrollment only. Our office will continue to accept and process Third-Party contract forms.

Once we receive the form, the Student Accounts Office will update your account balance to defer the sum the external party has agreed to cover. Students can review their Third-Party Sponsor Details on their student account.

The Student Accounts Office  will send an invoice to the Third-Party for the agreed-upon items. This invoice will be issued once tuition has been assessed and/or after the processing of the relevant form.

After the invoice has been issued, sponsors are allotted 45 days to make a payment. Any remaining balance thereafter will be transferred back to the student’s account. It is strongly advised that students closely monitor their accounts.

Students may waive these fees with proof of comparable coverage. Full details can be found on the Harvard University Health Services (HUHS) website at http://hushp.harvard.edu.

Required Fee information for Sponsors can be found on the Student Accounts Offices website.

Note: The Office of Financial Aid is unable to provide scholarship support in the event your external funding source reduces or cancels funding it committed to providing. We recommend maintaining open communication with your external provider. We are able to provide information about educational loan borrowing options you may consider.
