Workshop on Artificial Intelligence & Tuberculosis
India Research Center, in collaboration with the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and Wadhwani Institute for Artificial Intelligence, organized a workshop on the role of Artificial Intelligence in preventing Tuberculosis.
This workshop was led by Dr. Milind Tambe, Gordon McKay Professor of Computer Science, Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Dr. Savita Shardul, State Surveillance and Monitoring Medical Officer, State TB Office – Pune, delivered the Keynote Address. The aim of the workshop was to bring together Government of Maharashtra officials and non-profit research organizations to effective ways of partnering for addressing tuberculosis through the use of AI.
