Training Workshop on “National Nutrition Mission: Communication for Jan Andolan”

Led by Dr. K. “Vish” Viswanath, Lee Kum Kee Professor of Health Communication of Harvard Chan School, and in partnership with Department of Women and Child, Government of Maharashtra & UNICEF Maharashtra, the India Research Center conducted a 2-day training workshop on how Health Communication can be used for mass mobilization and Jan Andolan to improve nutrition outcomes amongst children. The Center submitted a report for developing an Action Plan on community mobilization for improved nutrition seeking behaviours to Government of Maharashtra.
