Training Workshop on “National Nutrition Mission: Communication for Jan Andolan”
June 19 – June 20, 2018
In partnership with the Department of Women and Child, Government of Maharashtra, and UNICEF Maharashtra, the India Research Center conducted a two-day training workshop on how health communication can be used for mass mobilization and Jan Andolan to improve nutrition outcomes among children. The workshop was led by Dr. K. “Vish” Viswanath of Harvard Chan School.
The Center is in the process of submitting a report for developing an action plan on community mobilization for improved nutrition-seeking behaviors to the government of Maharashtra.
