The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health India Research Center recently hosted a seminar on “Strengthening Public Health in India: Decision Makers as Drivers of Change” in Mumbai on December 20, 2024. The seminar commenced with opening notes from Maharashtra Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik, IAS. This was followed by a panel discussion, comprising Dr. Vipul Aggarwal, IPS, Principal Commissioner, Delhi Development Authority, Dr Mrinalini Darswal, IAS, Special Resident Commissioner, Odisha Bhawan, Dr Praveen Gedam, IAS, Divisional Commissioner, Nashik and was moderated by Dr Ramya Pinnamaneni, Director, KIIT School of Public Health-DU (Odisha). The discussion concluded with closing remarks by Dr Rati Godrej, MD Internal Medicine and Member, Advisory Council for Harvard Chan IRC.
