Seminar on ‘Accelerating Global Health Innovation through Transdisciplinary Frameworks and Design Thinking Methodology’

Conducted on July 20, 2023 in Mumbai with Dr Shriya Srinivasan, assistant professor of bioengineering, Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and founder, Project Prana Foundation.

During this interactive seminar, participants:

  • Learnt how to use design thinking frameworks to accelerate the development of research from an academic lab into the clinic;
  • Heard case studies that demonstrate the utility of transdisciplinary frameworks for advancing innovation in global health contexts;
  • Engaged in discussions with other participants to identify critical gaps in infrastructure and ideate frameworks to unite clinicians, engineers, entrepreneurs, and policy experts in a mission towards tackling the global health challenges of India today.
