Panel Discussion on “Your Mind Matters”

The India Research Center in collaboration with the Asia Society hosted a panel discussion titled “Your Mind Matters,” led by Dr. Vikram Patel of Harvard Chan School. Other speakers included Dr. Prabha Chandra, Dr. Samir Parikh, and Jerry Pinto who discussed possible ways to effectively deal with India’s mental health crisis.
Dr. Patel spoke about the burden of mental disorders, their association with social disadvantage, and the use of community resources for their prevention and treatment.
