The Harvard T.H. Chan Education and Research Center for Occupational Safety and Health (ERC) is one of the 18 regional centers funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). The Harvard Chan ERC supports traineeships at the master, doctoral, and postdoctoral levels.

Occupational Medicine
The Occupational Medicine Program of the Harvard Chan ERC is the Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency (OEMR) Program, an ACGME-accredited training experience in preventive medicine.
The residents in this program gain the qualifications to sit for board certification by the American Board of Preventive Medicine, earn a Harvard Chan Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a concentration in occupational and environmental health, and practice their skills in a wide variety of settings, from medical facilities to industry sites.
Harvard Chan ERC offers financial support packages comprised of MPH tuition coverage, health insurance and fees coverage, and stipends to qualified trainees enrolled in the OEMR program.
