Summer Orientation

Monday, July 6, 2026

Who should attend? All new degree and non-degree students starting their program in July 2026 (summer session) should attend this Orientation.

Fall Orientation

Tuesday, August 25 through Thursday, August 27, 2026

Who should attend? All new fall students (SM, MPH, PhD, and any other degree-seeking students) beginning their program on campus in August 2026 should attend this Orientation. Students in online programs will receive information about orientation from your program.

New MPH students (excluding those in the Clinical Effectiveness field of study) who started their program in the summer and will continue in the fall must also attend. DrPH students who started their program in the summer are invited to attend. Please email studentaffairs@hsph.harvard.edu to let them know you will attend.

Online Student Orientation

Orientation for online students in the MPH Generalist and Online SM programs will be held virtually during the week of August 24, 2026. Although sessions will be recorded, students are encouraged to attend orientation sessions live if they are able. In addition to online orientation sessions, incoming online students may also choose to attend any on-campus orientation sessions that interest them.
