Mental Wellbeing Course

The Mental Wellbeing Course walks you through this online resource, which offers guidance on:

-Opportunities to engage in wellness activities

Creating a Community Free of Discrimination and Bullying

Completing this module helps to reflect our collective commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful community for all. This means ensuring that each of us understands the policies designed to safeguard our community and the available resources. Crucially, the module highlights the role each of us plays in preventing and addressing discrimination and other misconduct.

A Note on Resources: Community members seeking direct support for discrimination and/or other misconduct may access resources at csndr.harvard.edu. For those in need of confidential support specific to sexual harassment or sexual misconduct, the SHARE Team’s 24/7 hotline remains available at 617-495-9100.

Incoming students will receive information prior to the start of their program, including instructions on accessing and completing this eLearning Course.


Standards of Conduct Course

The Standards of Conduct Course will explain why academic integrity is important at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and why it is important to your work as a public health professional. It will also identify types of misconduct, review disciplinary proceedings at the School, and provide resources to help you succeed.

Incoming students will receive information prior to their program start with instructions on accessing and completing this eLearning Course.


Stata

Stata is the primary statistical software package used in the introductory Biostatistics courses ID201 and BST201 and in some other courses at Harvard Chan School.

An Introduction to Stata Handout is provided for your review.

The following videos provide an introduction to using Stata. To follow along with the videos you can access Stata through VDI. Instructions for VDI can be found on the IT intranet . Once you have installed VDI, please open Stata. If you have questions about installing VDI please contact helpdesk@hsph.harvard.edu.

There is a sample Stata dataset available in your P drive via VDI as well called heart.dta, which can be accessed by:

  • Click the Start button
  • Click on Computer
  • Open the P drive
  • Double-click on the heart.dta file to open STATA
