Overview
The Harvard Catalyst Research Subject Advocacy Program prepared these brochures to support communication between researchers and participants. The Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs, Inc., has developed a brochure entitled How Are You Protected, which explains the AAHRPP accreditation process as well as some basic information about being a research participant. AAHRPP is an independent, non-profit accrediting body that uses a voluntary, peer-driven, educational model to ensure that HRPPs meet rigorous standards for quality and protection. The Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health and Harvard University Faculty of Medicine has maintained full accreditation since June 11, 2010.
