Time: 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. ET

About the Practice Open House

The Practice Open House is an opportunity for public health organizations to connect with MPH students seeking practicum placements for the upcoming year. Held in a virtual “tabling” format, your organization will be able to engage directly with students, share project opportunities, and answer questions about your work.

This is a great way to raise awareness of your organization’s mission and recruit motivated public health students who bring fresh perspectives, technical skills, and a strong commitment to community impact.

What to Expect & Key Logistics

  • ✅ Virtual Setup
    • You’ll receive access to your virtual booth 60 minutes before the fair starts, allowing time to log in, test your video link, and meet your team.
    • Host organizations can hold 1‑on‑1 chats, and may also provide a group session link for open Q&A or drop-in conversations.
  • 👥 Staffing & Preparation
    • You may register multiple representatives, each with their own login. Be sure to submit all attendee names by Sept 6 to ensure full access.
    • Representatives hosting group chats do not need to access Crimson Careers; they can join simply via the shared meeting link.
  • 🖥️ Day‑of Guidance
    • Set your status to “Online” to begin receiving student queue requests. If stepping away briefly, mark as “Busy.” When offline, students will be notified and may leave your queue.
    • Enjoying meeting students and sharing information about your opportunity!
