Power Shutdown Notice for FXB and Building 2 for Thursday morning
On Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 6:00am there will be a power shutdown in FXB and Building 2 to test emergency power.
This shutdown will impact the following:
- FXB All Floors (B, G, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)
- SPH-2 Floors 1, 2, & HCCM Barrier Mouse Facility
We are anticipating a shutdown of no longer than 30 minutes to 1 hour. During the shutdown, there will be a 15-second delay when switching to emergency power and then again when switching back to normal power upon completion of the test. All sensitive electronics (laptops/computers, lab equipment) should be powered off. The buildings will be operating on normal power by no later than 7:00 AM.

Shutdown Time: 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM
Outage Duration: 30 Minutes – 1 hour
Maintenance operators & electricians will be on-site monitoring all building and electrical systems.
IT will be on-site at 7:30am to help with any computer or network problems.
