Farzad Noubary, PhD, is Associate Clinical Professor and Senior Statistician at Northeastern University, Bouvé College of Health Sciences. He has extensive research experience in biostatistics, having taught at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and served as both a statistical editor of a major clinical journal and a methods reviewer of NIH grants. His specific research interests include statistical methods for the design and analysis of studies evaluating novel diagnostics and other clinical decision tools, longitudinal data analysis, and epidemiology, particularly in the context of infectious diseases and lifestyle intervention research. Vladimir Novitsky, M.D., Ph.D., is a Principal Research Scientist in the Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases at the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Novitsky has made a number of significant contributions to the virological and immunological study of HIV-1 infection. The main focus of Dr. Novitsky’s research is molecular analysis of the HIV-1 subtype C epidemic, genotypic and phenotypic characterization of the HIV-1 subtype C genome, and potential associations between virological and immunological parameters in early and acute HIV-1 subtype C infection. Anne Occhipinti is the Assistant Dean for Professional Education at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. In addition to overseeing the administration of the Master of Public Health program at Harvard, Anne conducts many leadership and professional development trainings with a particular emphasis on self-awareness. She has coached for the Harvard Administrative Fellowship program and the Public Health Leadership concentration, and helped to launch the Peer Coaching Initiative at Harvard Chan. Dr. Orav is an Associate Professor of Medicine (Biostatistics) at Harvard Medical School and also at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. Jerry Osband, MD is a seasoned physician executive with 16 years of senior management experience in indemnity and managed care programs for group health, workers’ compensation and disability products.
