Dr. K. “Vish” Viswanath is Lee Kum Kee Professor of Health Communication in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health (HSPH) and in the McGraw-Patterson Center for Population Sciences at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI). He is also the Faculty Director of the Health Communication Core of the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center (DF/HCC). Dr. Waggoner was responsible for the design, fabrication, and operation of test stands used to conduct life cycle testing of filters to NQA-1 quality requirements. Filter testing activities have been conducted at MSU for 20 years. Initial filter testing was conducted under a joint effort between the Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management and EPA’s Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response with respect to the proposed Hazardous Waste Combustor Maximum Achievable Control Technology. Throughout his career, Dr. Wagner has provided organizational leadership at the juncture between scientific research and public health policy, both nationally and internationally. At Harvard, he teaches about the science behind occupational and environmental policies and regulations and the limits of regulatory health protective strategies.Until recently, he served as Senior Advisor to the Director of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH/CDC). At NIOSH, he developed and led the WorkLife Initiative, the precursor to the NIOSH Total Worker Health program. Dr. Rochelle Walensky served as the 19th Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (2021-2023), Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School (2012-2021), and Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases, Massachusetts General Hospital (2017-2021). Dr. Walensky is an infectious disease clinician whose research career is guided by a belief that the clinical and economic outcomes of medical decisions can be improved through the explicit articulation of choices, the systematic assembly of evidence, and the careful assessment of comparative costs and benefits. Dr. Ware is an internationally recognized leader in health and quality of life (QOL) measurement and Professor at UMass Medical School (UMMS). He was Senior Research Psychologist for 15 years at RAND developing outcome measures for the Health Insurance Experiment followed by serving as Principal Investigator of the Medical Outcomes Study, which continued into a 12-year term as Senior Scientist at Tufts Medical Center. Prior to joining UMMS, he founded and led QualityMetric Incorporated for 10 years. Nathan Watson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of SciShield, a provider of integrated safety and research management software solutions. Prior to founding SciShield in 2003, he spent twelve years as a bench researcher and laboratory supervisor at the University of California San Francisco and Dartmouth Medical School studying the molecular underpinnings of cellular differentiation and metabolism of brain tumors. He serves on the Board of Directors of The Laboratory Safety Institute and the UC Center for Laboratory Safety.

Louise Keogh Weed is an Instructor at the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health and at Harvard Division of Continuing Education, Affiliate Faculty at the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care, and the Founder/ CEO of KW Facilitation. Michael P. Whalen Jr. has a BS and MS in Health Physics from the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, MA and is a Certified Health Physicist (CHP). His work experience includes 7 years in the Harvard University EH&S Department as an Associate Radiation Safety Officer. He currently works for the State of Massachusetts Radiation Control Program (RCP) as a Senior Health Physicist and currently focused on implementing the NRC-mandated Increased Control (IC) security requirements, decommissioning Yankee Rowe Nuclear Power Station, and writing/maintaining the RCP databases.
