Dr. Tarek Nafee is an Internal Medicine Resident Physician at Boston University and a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the PERFUSE Study Group in the Cardiovascular Division of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Nafee received his BSc. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Waterloo, Canada. He received his M.D. in from the ASU College of Medicine in St. Vincent & The Grenadines. Rebekah Nagler is an associate professor in the Hubbard School of Journalism & Mass Communication at the University of Minnesota, where she held the Beverly and Richard Fink Professorship in Liberal Arts from 2020-2023. She is also affiliate faculty at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and a member of the Masonic Cancer Center. Professor Nagler’s research examines the effects of routine exposure to health information in the media, with a particular focus on conflicting and often controversial information. Eve Nagler is a Senior Scientist in the Center for Community-Based Research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) and Research Associate at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (HSPH). She is an intervention researcher with a background in health behavior and health education. The core of Dr. Nagler’s research focuses on the development and testing of behavioral interventions that are theory-driven and evidence-based. Central to her work is the translation of research into practice. Dr. Naslund is Instructor of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He holds expertise in psychiatric epidemiology, implementation science, social disparities research and digital mental health. Dr. Naslund's scholarship seeks to advance efforts aimed at improving the lives of individuals facing the challenges of mental illness worldwide. Specifically, his work explores the intersection between emerging digital technologies, such as smartphones, social media, and mobile applications, and implementation science, towards improving the reach, quality and effectiveness of mental health services and addressing gaps in equity and sustainability. Vivek Natarajan is a Research Scientist at Google leading research at the intersection of large language models (LLMs) and biomedicine. In particular, Vivek is the lead researcher behind Med-PaLM and Med-PaLM 2, which were the first AI systems to obtain passing and expert level scores on US Medical License exam questions respectively. Med-PaLM was recently published in Nature and has been featured in The Scientific American, Wall Street Journal, The Economist, STAT News, CNBC, Forbes, New Scientist among others. Sinaia Nathanson, Ph.D. is a social psychologist specializing in conflict resolution and organizational behavior. Dr. Nathanson earned her Masters Degree at Harvard and her Doctorate at Tufts University. As a full-time Senior Lecturer in the department of psychology at Tufts University she teaches social psychology, conflict resolution, leadership and group dynamics. She also leads courses on negotiation, mediation and communication at the Gordon Institute and at the Program on Peace and Justice at Tufts. Ivo Nelson, a 23-year veteran of information systems and reengineering, is Leader of IBM’s Healthcare Industry, Global and Americas, with responsibility for all of IBM’s Healthcare Industry. He is also former CEO of Houston-based Healthlink Incorporated, a company he built to be the nation’s largest privately held, provider-focused healthcare information systems consulting firm. Farzad Noubary, PhD, is Associate Clinical Professor and Senior Statistician at Northeastern University, Bouvé College of Health Sciences. He has extensive research experience in biostatistics, having taught at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and served as both a statistical editor of a major clinical journal and a methods reviewer of NIH grants. His specific research interests include statistical methods for the design and analysis of studies evaluating novel diagnostics and other clinical decision tools, longitudinal data analysis, and epidemiology, particularly in the context of infectious diseases and lifestyle intervention research.
