Dr. Pandya loves teaching introductory health decision science and conducting research built on these methods. His areas of interest are: 1) applied decision science studies evaluating cardiovascular disease policies; 2) connecting cost-effectiveness analysis with broader value-based health policies being implemented or piloted in U.S. health reform; and 3) methodological topics within cost-effectiveness modeling (calibration, validation, distributional cost-effectiveness analysis). Stefania Papatheodorou is an Associate Professor in Epidemiology at the Rutgers School of Public Health, an Adjunct Associate Professor in Epidemiology at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, and a trained obstetrician and gynecologist. She has been working on evidence synthesis for the last fifteen years on a variety of clinical topics with a primary focus on risk factors for pregnancy-related diseases such as gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, prenatal diagnosis of fetal defects, and preterm delivery as well as longer-term outcomes such as children’s neurodevelopment due to environmental exposures during pregnancy.
