Nicholas Horton elected ASA President for 2028

A big congratulations to Nicholas Horton (SD 1999) who was elected the 123rd President of the American Statistical Association (ASA) for 2028.  Nick is Beitzel Professor of Technology and Society (Statistics and Data Science) in the Department of Statistics at Amherst College.  Having served the ASA in multiple capacities, including as an ASA vice president and the editor of the Journal of Statistics and Data Science Education, he brings extensive experience in statistics education and association leadership to the role of president-elect, starting in January 2027.
