Our Work

The Challenge

Frontline health workers routinely make critical, life-altering decisions on behalf of their patients. Yet, they rarely have time amidst heavy workloads to review new medical evidence. Providers in low-resource settings frequently contend with additional challenges, including overwhelming patient volumes, scarce specialist support, and limited training opportunities. The absence of reliable, up-to-date resources increases the risk of diagnostic delays, ineffective use of limited resources, and diminished professional morale, all of which can negatively impact patient care.

Our Solution

Although digital tools have the power to advance clinical decision-making and foster more efficient, effective, and equitable care, these technologies remain inaccessible to many health workers, especially across the Global South. Barriers such as high costs, insufficient training, lack of awareness, difficulties integrating digital tools into existing workflows, and an overwhelming array of unfamiliar options all limit their use and potential impact.

When health workers are equipped with the right information at the right moment, they are empowered to deliver the highest standard of care not only to their patients but to their communities as a whole. Equipping clinicians with safe, accurate, and relevant tools – and providing robust support for their implementation – empowers them to make better-informed care decisions and improve patient outcomes. With the right resources, clinicians can more effectively address resource limitations, deliver higher-quality care, build greater professional confidence, and support more equitable health outcomes.
