Housing

The Office for Student Affairs provides Harvard Chan students with information about options for on- and off-campus housing. Our students live in many different types of accommodations all across the city.

Harvard University manages a limited number of residencies near Harvard Chan School in Boston and across the river in Cambridge. These housing options foster a sense of community and encourage shared activities, making it easy to build connections and friendships.

Boston has both traditional apartment buildings and stand-alone houses for rent, as well as two- and three-story buildings (called “double-deckers” or “triple-deckers”) with apartments on each floor.  Popular neighborhoods for Harvard Chan students include: Mission Hill, Brookline, Fenway, Back Bay, and the South End.
