John Graham

John Evans
Professor John Evans helped in creating HCRA and has been a leader in education and in applying expert judgment to estimate the degree of uncertainty about risks (including those from air pollution, oil fires in Kuwait, and methyl mercury in fish). Richard Wilson
Professor Richard Wilson (1926 – 2018) was a professor of physics who pioneered the modern field of risk analysis and worked closely with HCRA staff for many years. He promoted the use of risk analysis in the law and worked to quantify and manage the risks associated with nuclear power, including working with Soviet scientists investigating the Chernobyl accident.
