Center for Health Communication
2025 Creators Summit on Mental Health
The 2025 Creators Summit on Mental Health—part of the Center for Health Communication’s Creator Program— brought together leading creators dedicated to spreading evidence-based mental health information to their communities of millions.
The summit focused on serious mental illness (SMI), suicide prevention, and homelessness — three interconnected public health crises too often left out of mainstream conversations. While creators have made extraordinary strides in destigmatizing anxiety, depression, and self-care, stories of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, addiction, psychosis, and housing insecurity remain underrepresented or deeply misunderstood online.
When creators shine light on the hardest truths with care, accuracy, and lived experience, they help shift public perception, influence policy, and offer hope to people who’ve long been left out of the narrative.
This summit served as a call to create with courage — for the sake of visibility, justice, and change.
