At the interdisciplinary Zhu Family Center for Global Cancer Prevention, our mission is to support groundbreaking research that develops and implements novel methods, technologies, and tools to further the translation of cancer prevention work into clinical and public health practice. We are dedicated to prevention education and research across the cancer continuum.

Education and Funding Opportunities

The Zhu Center is dedicated to investing in resources that will train the next generation of prevention and early detection researchers. We believe in bringing together institutions to form a multidisciplinary, multi-institutional group to discuss problems, develop collaborations, and to identify priorities for research across the field of cancer prevention and early detection.

Cancer Prevention Research Award

The purpose of the Zhu Family Center Cancer Prevention Research Award (CaPRA) is to provide funding to support trainee research projects in the field of global cancer prevention and early detection.

Zhu Family Trainee Travel Award

The Zhu Trainee Travel Award provides support to trainees who have been invited to present their research at a scientific conference with a focus in cancer prevention or early detection.
