Implementation Science Center for Cancer Control Equity
The Implementation Science Center for Cancer Control Equity (ISCCCE) is one of seven such centers funded by the National Cancer Institute Moonshot Initiative. ISCCCE aims to develop sustainable strategies for ensuring that all patients have access to evidence-based cancer prevention and control.
Clinical‒Community Partnerships for Cancer Prevention Equity
Project Summary
This pilot study will explore the extent to which community health centers (CHCs) are using evidence-based interventions (EBIs) for cancer prevention, specifically related to nutrition, physical activity, and tobacco use, and will identify actionable factors within the implementation context that enable adoption and implementation of EBIs among CHC‒community partnerships. The study team will then develop a collaborative approach to support adoption of cancer prevention EBIs by CHC‒community partnerships, using rapid-cycle testing.
