Chan School of Public Health, where he leads the Lab’s innovation and translation portfolio. His work spans three core domains: (1) health systems dynamics and performance, including the analysis of how system functions, contextual shocks, and innovations influence outcomes and value creation, measured in relation to effectiveness, efficiency, equity, and responsiveness; (2) the development and application of the Harvard High-Value Health Systems Model, including frameworks and AI-enabled methodologies to benchmark national progress and support system transition globally; and (3) early-stage digital and AI-enabled health ventures, with a focus on venture design, strategy, and scale within complex adaptive systems.
He has led the development of HSIL’s venture-building approach and has overseen the incubation of over 200 ventures through the Lab’s innovation pipeline. He is also a founder and has been involved in the development of health technology ventures in South Africa and the United States, including recognition at MIT Hacking Medicine.
Dr Reddy has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals, including The Lancet, The Lancet Oncology, The BMJ, JAMA, and the American Journal of Surgery. He has also contributed to four Harvard Business School case studies on healthcare startups and has delivered over 50 invited presentations globally. His work has been featured in Economist Impact, including contributions on innovation strategy and health systems transformation.
He previously served as a Paul Farmer Fellow and subsequently Chief Fellow in the Department of Plastic and Oral Surgery and the Program in Global Surgery and Social Change at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He has also contributed extensively to curriculum design, student mentorship, and teaching across graduate and executive education programs at Harvard and HSIL since 2019.
