Our team collaborates with students, alumni, and employers to bridge Harvard Chan talent with opportunities across diverse industries and organizations committed to impactful public health work. Courtney is the primary contact for any employers interested in recruiting and hiring Harvard Chan talent. She focuses on employer engagement and outreach to cultivate relationships with organizations that hire public health professionals across industries. Courtney was previously the Program Director of Employer Engagement in Wellesley College’s Career Education Office and brings 15+ years of experience in international education, university recruitment and partnerships, and business development to this role.

Andrea is a certified life coach, yoga teacher, and mindfulness instructor and provides coaching and career guidance to students and alumni. She supports students in all aspects of career development with a focus on self-reflection, work values, and career exploration. She has prior work experience in the Harvard Center for Wellness and Health Promotion. Andrea has an MS from Northeastern University in Global Studies and International Affairs and a BA in Psychology from Boston College.

Sheila provides career guidance to students of all backgrounds with a focus on public health, non-profit and social science research organizations. She helps students in all aspects of career development including career exploration, job search strategy, networking, interview preparation and salary negotiation. Sheila has an MPH from the University of Michigan in Health Behavior and Health Education and prior experience working in chronic disease research, college health, suicide prevention and mental health promotion.

Alison focuses on career coaching and education for students and alumni. She has expertise in guiding candidates through the job search process and developing career programming that helps students and alumni build professional competencies to support their individual career goals. Before coming to Harvard Chan, Alison worked in corporate recruiting and employee training and development, and spent over eight years in graduate admissions at Boston-area universities. She has a BA in English Literature from Smith College and a MS in Communications Management from Simmons University.

Maria assists in connecting top public health employers with our campus community, working closely with organizations to facilitate recruiting, information sessions, and career expos. She supports the planning and execution of career-related events and projects throughout the academic year. Maria takes pride in helping students and alumni with their inquiries, guiding them through job postings, and navigating the CareerConnect system.
