Biography
Ivan Pirzada oversees BBH's Corporate Advisory, Commercial Lending and Private Equity investing activities in the Boston office. Having joined the firm in 2000, he has over 23 years of experience as an M&A advisor and private equity investor as a Principal with BBH Capital Partners, the firm's private equity investment strategy.
Earlier in his career, Ivan was responsible for BBH’s healthcare corporate finance advisory (M&A) practice worldwide, leading a variety of transactions, including equity recapitalizations, corporate sales, divestitures and acquisitions. His clients included owner-managed private companies and public companies in both the U.S. and Europe, where he completed over $7 billion in transactions.
Ivan serves on the Board of Directors of Haven Behavioral Healthcare, Ethos Veterinary Health and MPS Microsystems. He is also a member of the Harvard School of Public Health’s Health Policy and Management Executive Council. Ivan is a graduate of Bowdoin College.
