Ms Sunkel is the Founder/ CEO of the Global Mental Health Peer Network (www.gmhpn.org). She is a global mental health advocate with lived experience with schizophrenia. She has published internationally on issues related to mental health and human rights, stigma and the needs of people with mental illness in low- and middle-income countries. Ms Sunkel has been involved in provided technical assistance to national and international mental health related policies, reports and documents. She serves on a number of international boards and committees, and received several national and international awards for her work.
Mr. Sweeney has spent over 12 years in different semiconductor companies as the Senior Industrial Hygienist and now serves as the Senior Health and Safety Officer for the Center for Nanoscale Systems in the LISE building and the Northwest Lab Building at Harvard University.
As the SCIO for Massachusetts’ EOHHS, Manu is responsible for IT for 17 state agencies including Medicaid, public health, disability services, means based programs and children and youth services. Manu also serves as the Massachusetts State HIT Coordinator and is currently overseeing the development of a statewide Medicaid funded open access HIE infrastructure for the state. Manu is also the Principal Technology Lead on the six state New England Health Insurance Exchange innovator program. Elizabeth Teisberg is a tenured professor of business at the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business, and a Senior Institute Associate at Harvard’s Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness. Her expertise is in Strategy and Innovation. Prof. Teisberg speaks and works internationally on innovation for dramatic improvement in health care value, actively implementing Redefining Health Care. She has developed frameworks and cases to enable the implementation process. Redefining Health Care received the American College of Healthcare Executives 2007 James A. Prof Armando Teixeira-Pinto is an Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Sydney. He received his PhD in Biostatistics in 2007 from Harvard University. His research interests are in statistical methodology applicable to clinical, epidemiological and health services research, in particular in the areas of nephrology, cardiovascular diseases and mental health. He is the Statistical editor for Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes, Epidemiologic methods, Cochrane Kidney and Transplant, and Statistical reviewer for Lancet.
Jamie Tessler has extensive research and practice experience in the field of occupational ergonomics and musculoskeletal epidemiology. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications, designed ergonomic exposure assessment tools, trained research fieldwork teams, designed survey and data collection instruments, and managed research-to-practice educational programs. As a consultant, Jamie has supported creative ergonomics solutions in healthcare facilities and a variety of office environments from the large firm down to the home office.
