New APHA TV Film Showcases STRIPED’s Work to Advance Eating Disorder Prevention

STRIPED at the Harvard School of Public Health is showcased in a new film, Eating Disorders Are Public Health, produced for the American Public Health Association’s APHA TV Thought Leadership Film Series in partnership with WebsEdge.
The film highlights STRIPED’s mission to make eating disorder prevention a public health priority, bringing together research, policy advocacy, and youth leadership to address the conditions that put people at risk.
At STRIPED, we believe preventing eating disorders means looking beyond individual behaviors to the broader forces shaping how people see and feel about their bodies. Our work spans efforts to challenge appearance-based discrimination, strengthen public health surveillance, hold industries accountable, and advance policies that protect young people.
Through collaboration with researchers, policymakers, advocates, and young leaders, STRIPED is working to turn evidence into meaningful action and build a healthier future for all.
