Xihao Li Receives Trans-Omics for Precision Medicine Fellowship

Postdoc and alumna Xihao Li, PhD ’21, has recently been awarded a Trans-Omics for Precision Medicine (TOPMed) Fellowship from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), which is a one-year award that fully supports postdoctoral fellowship. His grant “Powerful and resource-efficient multi-trait analysis for large-scale multi-ethnic whole-genome sequencing studies” will include research on developing and applying statistical and computational methods and pipelines for powerful and resource-efficient integrative analysis of multiple traits in large-scale multi-ethnic whole-genome sequencing studies to identify disease-associated rare and causal variants. Dr. Li will be mentored by Dr. Xihong Lin and work closely with Dr. Pradeep Natarajan and Dr. Bing Yu, along with the Lipids Working Group and the Metabolomics and Proteomics Working Group from the NHLBI TOPMed Program. Congratulations!
