Biography
Dr. Alan Karthikesalingam is a surgeon-scientist working on biomedical AI. He co-founded and leads AI co-clinician and AI co-scientist and previously led work on AMIE and the Med-PaLM family of systems. His research spans clinical dialogue, diagnosis and multimodal medical information. He trained in medicine at the University of Cambridge and is an honorary lecturer in vascular surgery at Imperial College London.
