Loans for Less than Half-Time Programs

Harvard Chan School has several degree programs that are considered less than half-time. They include the MPH-EPI program, the Master in Health Care Management (MHCM), and our MPH-45 summer-focused and SM-42.5 summer-only programs.

The Office of Financial Aid queried several lenders who serve less-than-half-time and non-degree students. Their responses are listed below. You are not required to use any of these lenders.

Before deciding on any lender, please review the information that Harvard has compiled on its Private Loan Options webpage. Please also carefully consider the total cost of taking out of the loan (factoring in both fees and interest), the repayment schedules, your personal tolerance for risk, and whether there are options to defer payments while you’re in school or during periods of financial hardship.
