A research program focused on applying implementation science to cancer prevention and control. Our goal is to support communities in Massachusetts in developing sustainable strategies and partnerships to make evidence-based cancer control more accessible.
Massachusetts Cancer Prevention and Control Network
The Massachusetts Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network (MCPCRN) addresses tobacco cessation implementation in community health centers across Massachusetts. Our research seeks to address barriers to uptake of tobacco cessation in patients utilizing health centers for primary care and behavioral health needs. MCPCRN also represents a collaboration with other CPCRN sites across the country, through which we engage in cross center working groups focused on early career training, community engagement, and cancer prevention.

The Cancer Control and Prevention Network enables cross center collaboration with 8 funded research centers across the US and a coordinating center at UNC Chapel Hill.
