Tim Lim
Tim Lim (he/him) is a pharmacist and PhD student at the University of Toronto. His research explores barriers and facilitators to HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) among Indigenous communities in the Greater Toronto Area, with a focus on culturally responsive interventions to improve PrEP awareness and uptake.
Prior to graduate studies, Tim was a faculty member at the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, where he provided care at a pharmacist-led clinic and helped develop clinical pharmacy service pathways for First Nations communities across B.C.
Tim currently works as a consultant with PrideRx, creating national 2SLGBTQ+ health education modules for pharmacy students and pharmacy professionals. He also facilitates workshops for faculty on integrating sexual orientation, gender identity, and inclusive care into pharmacy curricula.
Outside of work, Tim enjoys the outdoors, plays in a gay volleyball league, and is an avid traveler.
