SOGIE Health Equity Research Collaborative

The mission of the SOGIE Collaborative is to advance health equity for all communities, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity and expression.

Tabor Hoatson, BA, MPH

Tabor Hoatson (he/him) is an aspiring epidemiologist with interests in sexual and gender minority (SGM) health equity, causal inference, and the application of intersectional and postcolonial theory to public health practice. He received his MPH with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the Boston University School of Public Health in 2022 and his BA with Honors in Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Stanford University in 2020. Currently, Tabor is a research analyst working with Dr. Brittany Charlton in the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He supports a broad portfolio of manuscripts related to reproductive health and chronic disease disparities among SGM people. He has also supported collaborations with Drs. Sabra Katz-Wise, Allegra Gordon, and Kimberly Nelson on manuscripts related to substance use, psychiatric outcomes, and sexual health among SGM people.
