SOGIE Health Equity Research Collaborative

The mission of the SOGIE Collaborative is to advance health equity for all communities, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity and expression.

About Us

The SOGIE Collaborative, hosted at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, has been conducting research related to sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and health since the 1990s and we formed as a collaborative in 2011. We began by bringing together researchers from Boston Children’s Hospital and the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, and now include members from many institutions, including:

Researchers are eligible to join the SOGIE Collaborative if they: 1) are based at the same institution as a current SOGIE Collaborative member, and/or 2) collaborate with a current SOGIE Collaborative member. All new members are required to have a SOGIE Collaborative faculty member sponsor. If you are interested in joining, please complete our membership form and review our community norms.
