Program in Quantitative Genomics
The Program in Quantitative Genomics (PQG) develops and applies quantitative methods to help handle massive genetic, genomic, and health data. Based in the Harvard Chan School and Longwood Medical Area, its goal is to improve health through the interdisciplinary study of genetics, behavior, environment, and health.

From Multimodal Reasoning to Trustworthy AI Agents for Genomics and Health
Genomics and health increasingly involve heterogeneous and interconnected data, creating new opportunities for multimodal AI to integrate evidence across biological, clinical, and knowledge-based sources. This talk presents recent research toward AI systems that move beyond multimodal integration to reason over complex evidence, refine knowledge and representations, and interact as agents. It further examines how increasing agency introduces new challenges for trustworthiness and motivates safety as an integral part of multimodal AI design. Together, these advances point toward trustworthy AI agents for scientific discovery and health applications.
