Immune Tolerance Dysfunction in Pregnancy due to Ambient Air Pollution Exposure
About the Pregnancy Grant
Funded by R01 ES032253
Exposure of pregnant women to environmental pollution and toxicants significantly increase risks to mother’s health after birth. Using already collected samples, our study will use innovative technologies and will identify the drivers of immune dysfunction and potential modifiable factors. We will determine how these immune findings are associated with pollution exposure and outcomes of disease.
