Rebecca Mozaffarian
Becky is a Project Manager in the Nutrition Department at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research focuses on identifying effective policies and strategies to improve child health by improving food, physical activity and screen time environments in in early child care, schools, afterschool programs, and community settings.
Becky is currently working on a variety of Dr. Kenney’s projects, including identifying and evaluating effective implementation strategies for the Child Care and Adult Food Program in early child care settings; assessing digital device use among young children and racial ethnic disparities in exposure to food and beverage advertisements; the impact of COVID-19 school food service; and others.
Becky earned her Master of Science degree in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition from Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, and her Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from Tufts Medical School.
