Christina Tong
Christina is a Master of Public Health student in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the Yale School of Public Health. She is currently working with Dr. Erica Kenney in the Nutrition Department at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health on her Kids APPS study to investigate middle school-aged youth exposure to food and beverage marketing on digital devices. Christina’s interests surround making and sustaining behavior changes to promote chronic disease prevention in the community.
Previously, Christina received her BS in Health Science with a minor in Psychology from Northeastern University. She has additional research experience with the Yale School of Medicine and Northeastern University. Her prior roles at the Rhode Island Department of Health and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts have also allowed her to expand her practical experience in both public and private sectors.
