Center for Biostatistics in AIDS Research (CBAR)
CBAR’s mission is to foster statistical science in clinical trials and other research studies in infectious diseases particularly HIV. CBAR pursues this mission by promoting innovative strategies for the design, data monitoring, analyses, and reporting of research studies, and by providing education and training relevant to statistical aspects of infectious disease research.

CBAR Steering
The CBAR Steering Committee is responsible for the overall research direction and operations of CBAR. Membership of the Steering Committee includes leadership of the three major projects (the ACTG and IMPAACT SDACs and PHACS) , plus the CBAR Executive Director of Administration, Finance, and IT, and the Director of Biostatistics and Programming.
