Biography

Tian-Shin Yeh, MD, MMSc, PhD, is an Attending Physician, Nutritional Epidemiologist, and Associate Professor in the School of Medicine, College of Medicine, Taipei Medical University.

She is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) in Taiwan and holds a Master of Medical Science (MMSc) from National Taiwan University. She earned her PhD in Clinical Epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (2016–2020), where she trained under the mentorship of Professor Deborah Blacker.

Following graduation, Dr. Yeh completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Harvard–Oxford Program in Epidemiology with Professors David J. Hunter and Walter C. Willett (June 2021 – June 2022), and an earlier postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Nutrition at Harvard (June 2020 – May 2021), working with Professors Alberto Ascherio, Marc Weisskopf, and Walter C. Willett.

Her research focuses on how diet and other modifiable risk factors influence neurodegenerative diseases, particularly dementia, as well as broader determinants of healthy aging.
