Biography

Hongmei Zeng started her appointment as a visiting scientist in the Department of Nutrition at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health since July. 2019. She is an associate professor from National Cancer Center/Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.

Dr. Zeng received her Ph.D. degree from Peking University in China in 2011, and she studied in Yale University between 2009 and 2010. She is the principle investigator for many Chinese national scientific research programs including National R&D programs and National Natural Science Funds. She is one of the core members of Chinese Nation-wide Cancer Registration and Follow-up Program, as well as two multi-center screening cohorts on upper intestinal cancer and liver cancer in China. Dr. Zeng's research interests are in the areas of cancer epidemiology. She has published more than 100 articles in this area.
