Biography
Gillian Christie, DrPH MPhil, has focused her career on promoting health at the intersection of business and technology. She is currently advancing strategy and operations at Pearl Health, focused on providing software and services to primary care providers. She is also an Adjunct Lecturer in Health Policy and Management at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Gillian previously was with Circulo Health, focused on Medicaid health insurance. Before that, she was with Walmart Health, working on their healthcare strategy and partnerships. She has advised Intermountain Healthcare (Utah Alliance for the Determinants of Health), the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (Building a Culture of Health), and the Bloomberg-Harvard City Leadership Initiative (Denver Mayor’s Office). Gillian also worked at the Vitality Institute (part of the South African insurer, Discovery) in New York City.
Dr. Christie received a Doctor of Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a MPhil from the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School, and a MA (Hons) from the University of St Andrews in Scotland.
